Greeting Johnnies! It’s been a few weeks since we last spoke to you… We hope you’ve been following along & if you haven’t, you’ve missed some fun!
Last night we played one of the greatest MIAC games you’ll ever see. Facing off against the #6 (#2 in NCAA NPI) team in the country we took a 1-0 lead into halftime & looked well on course for a win. SJU had a clear edge in shots, territory, & set plays. But the second half was unlike anything you’ve seen. Two SJU red cards (double yellows) when we had subs waiting at the scores table, meant we were in a horrible spot. Tied 1-1 we were just trying to survive & get to penalties. But seniors Foster Conlin & Alex Bowman had other ideas! Combining for a goal with four minutes left. What a night! & hopefully just the start as we head to the Semifinal a St Olaf on Thursday at 2 pm.
Come out and support Johnnie soccer!
There will be an informal lunch gathering at Hogan Brothers (Bo Diddley’s style deli) at 12pm prior to the game.

Something bigger than ourselves.
We aren’t done yet, but as we continue in the post season & reflect on our regular season… this new Johnnie era is showing that something is growing in Collegeville. Here are some of the fun stats from the 2025 Regular season:
Most regular season wins since 2015 & 2006 before that.
Most goals (56) scored in a season in program history (according to MIAC stored records).
Ronan O’Connor is the single season record holder for goals with 20. Some suggestion that he may also have the single season point record. True or false? With 50 points from 20 goals & 10 assists.
#15 Nationally for Scoring Offense (2.94).
#1 Nationally for Assists per Game (3.78).
#3 Nationally for Points per Game (9.67).
#6 Nationally for Corners earned per game (7.61).
#11 Nationally for Shots on Goal per Game (11).
#32 Nationally for Shots per Game (17.67).
#21 Nationally for Goal Differential (+32)
& heading into the MIAC Semi Final we have the largest single season NPI swing in the country. In 2024 SJU was 193rd. Today we sit at #40 with a strong pathway to the NCAAs.
All that to say… The Johnnie Soccer giant is waking up.
